Inclusive model

Research shows that inclusive special education — particularly in the early years — is a very effective educational model.

Cooke provides preschool services directly in a child's own preschool classroom in schools throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, where our students learn alongside their typically developing peers. Cooke offers targeted educational help to children between the ages of 2.9 and 5, or through the year before they start kindergarten. Our programs are sought out by preschools throughout the city that want to address the special education needs of their young students.

Cooke's integrated team of teachers and therapists provide children with the related services they need. Speech and language therapists, occupational and physical therapists, and counselors are available to every child in all of our programs.
