AdmissionS
Cooke Center serves children with special needs between the ages of 2-and-a-half to 21. Each program's admissions procedures are bit different, but one thing remains the same: Cooke is committed to helping every one of its students forge a road to independence and build a bright future.
Our students live in every borough of the city, reflecting New York's economic and cultural diversity. Many families turn to us because they cannot find public education options that meet the needs of their children. At Cooke, we are committed to maintaining a diverse community of students and to accepting every child who can benefit from our programs, regardless of the family's financial circumstances.
The Cooke Center for Learning & Development admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of any policies or programs, including its educational policies, admissions policies and athletic and other school administered programs.
