The Institute supports and coordinates professional development for Cooke's faculty and staff. By compiling and sharing information about workshops and training for our educators, the Institute helps Cooke to ensure that all of its programs are guided by the best practices in special education. CCI also provides resources, support and guidance to program heads as they plan professional development activities for their faculty. 

Through the Institute, Cooke provides opportunities for its staff to do independent research and share results, present at workshops and conferences, and publish articles about research findings.
