Parents
At Cooke, parents are our most important partners. They are an integral part of each child's instructional team, participating in educational planning, setting goals and reviewing progress.
Classroom teachers stay in close contact with parents, sending home weekly memos about classroom happenings and calling or e-mailing about a child's strengths and challenges.
Parents are invited to many Cooke events throughout the year, such as holiday shows, poetry readings, pancake breakfasts and musical theater productions, just to name a few.

Parents association
All Cooke Center School parents are invited to join the Parents Association. The parent-led group meets monthly to discuss upcoming school events, fundraising opportunities and fun "parents-night-out" events that give Cooke parents the chance to get to know each other.
See our school calendar for dates of parent meetings and other school events.
parent workshops
For preschool parents, the Cooke Center offers many workshops and activities throughout the year on subjects such as reading at home, and 'Mommy and Me' yoga. Visit the Workshops for Parents page for a complete list of topics.
Please check back with us as we continue to enhance the Parents section of our Web site.
